The naming of this is so deceptive. It's not a taxi - it can't take you from point A to point B unless either of those places has a landing area (helipad).
Maybe Toyota should focus first on making an electric car?
Maybe something costing less than $50,000?
The Japanese auto makers are so determined to not electrify, they'll come up with any excuse to NOT make an EV...
Even plug-in hybrids, with a dozen or so miles of electric capability would be a major contribution, that would still let them highlight (and maintain market dominance because of) their mechanical design and manufacturing preeminence.
