I'm sorry for what I'm about to say. But I love these attacks.
I feel so slighted to see lots of developers get job by running nmp install solution/axios/left-pad. Competitively I have little advantage over them by having my package.json and requirements.txt being 1 or 2 lines long.
But with this kind of stuff I feel vindicated. There's actually advantages to not downloading gigabytes of code per day, and it's not just about understandability and modifiability.

Developers love a nice "disruption", until there is one affecting their livelihoods.
